Develop, implement, manage, coordinate, and evaluate all aspects of the College's student recruitment programs in support of the College of Business's goal of enrolling the highest quality students available and meeting key recruitment targets and supporting initiatives that encourage enrollment growth. Performs additional duties as needed.
55% - Essential - Student Recruitment: Organize, implement, and oversee all recruitment activities of high school students for the College. This includes: performing outreach for African-American, Latino, and other underrepresented student populations and high quality prospects from schools not traditionally represented at Clemson; coordinating with the Public Information Director on the development of recruitment materials and multi-media strategies; developing and implementing a recruitment program for international undergrad student prospects and assist in athletic recruiting. The expectation is up to 50% available time traveling.
25% - Essential - Event Management: Lead and coordinate all student and family visits on campus, special recruitment events such as Future Tiger Days, Experience Clemson Days, Guidance Counselor Days. Manage the College activities to engage with students accepted to Clemson who have not yet committed. Develop and host events for families and prospective students in major cities where Clemson's brand is established or emerging. Develop, host, and cultivate recruitment opportunities and events at community/ technical colleges and appropriate high schools. Work with Admissions to develop unique college summer camps and programs.
10% - Essential - Department Collaboration: Coordinate with University Admissions and Department Chairs to find/target high quality prospective students for the College's individual majors. Coordinate with our university and College alumni relations network in developing our recruitment strategy. Incorporate current student participation as appropriate.
10% - Student Services: Assist the Academic Advising Center with orientation and advising. Collaborate with the Advising Center's Student Services Coordinator who conducts our College's Family and Student Information sessions/visits.
